a bit harsh. I think anyone that has the impression that any airline around the world cares about you or will treat you well is living in another era when being a pilot was important. Once you accept you’re just a number whether its in Europe or the ME or ASIA, you’ll feel much better. An airline is a business with very narrow margins, they want to make money and you’re just an employee. Full stop. Any other assumption of your importance is an illusion.
If Covid taught you anything its that all airlines are the same. They all let go of people (yes even in Europe with loads of unions and laws!)
