I was trudging through a muddy field near Caterham (nervously eying the cloud base and wondering about snow) and could hear the AN12. Also heard but didn't see the C-5 that came over at 18000 from Ramstein around 1445, and only started climbing once past Southampton. Strange...! Believe me, I was tempted to divert into the Fox on Coulsdon Common, brrrrr!
