You did stay and accepted lower and lower conditions, for years and years, right up to your individual line in the sand.You had no problem to be on the demand side as long as it suited you. You did not leave for moral reasons, you left because you saw less benefit in staying than in leaving.
And now you declare your personal threshold as the universal "right" one, the line no other pilot shall cross. That is irrational and imperious.
