The survival rate is because of vaccines and more importantly the Doctors and Nurses working their guts out trying to keep idiots that won’t get a vaccination alive. The selfishness of these people is simply galling. I know Drs that work in ICU COVID wards and the stories they tell are quite frankly gut wrenching and extremely sad. Can I get the vaccine? Will it make me better? Please help? Not one patient has ever said no thanks when certain highly specialised drugs are suggested. Not one.

Back to the thread title. I along with 99% of Qantas staff applaud the mandatory vaccination policy. We haven’t done the hard yards for the last 18 months to have all this traction undone by the looney few.
If you don’t want to get vaccinated that’s your choice. But don’t come to work. Don’t dare set foot in a flight deck and don’t you dare set foot in a hospital when you get COVID. The science is overwhelming. Vaccines work. No one gives a fu*k about your stupid Facebook derived theories.

Maybe they can move to the country and can fruit for SP...ah no that won't work either, SPC doesn't want to take that risk! Go for that old favourite, driving trucks on the mines for BHP and oh, damn, BHP doesn't want them either! If all else fails they can become a right-wing blowhard campaigning against vaccines on Fox News... wait, even Fox News has a vaccine mandate for their staff and greater than 90% vaccination rates! Fox and News Corp know what they need to do to stay safe, even while they loudly argue against it to whip up their audience for ratings and advertising dollars.
