This seems completely reasonable to me - kick out the crims (and there has to be a crime involved)., His other comments were rather incendiary though. Not very intelligent.
He does have a habit of doing this though. When he was Minister of the Economy and commenting on employment problems caused by the closure of a poultry preparation factory in Britanny, he said something like " It won't be easy because nearly all the female workers are illiterate"
