A caring company would have left bases open until there was sufficient work in HKG for applicants to get visas. A well managed company would have moved pilots onto POS18, withheld HKG living allowance and left them on the base until they could be trained and used on the line.
CX has closed the bases and destroyed lives. The few with
PR have moved back to HKG and are now doing no training and no work, but are separated from their families and incurring the added expense of living in HKG.
