To be exact，F1 visa is not good enough. Need an OPT! Still, foreigners using F1 OPT is a pain in the ass.
J1 visa no longer issue.
Many blood sucking US flight schools offer F1 but they are extremely reluctant to apply OPT.

You may be outdated on this.
Only 1 flight school in the entire United States which offer F1 then, transfer to work in the Airlines (
Direct Entry as Second Officer) with another visa. Many of those are Taiwanese.
