Ascent rely on you having a pension and/or not wanting to leave the area you were when you left the mob. They do not pay well at all.
Advice I was given as I was leaving was NEVER to work for any outfit which thought it could 'top up your pension' with a low pay rate.
Ascent should note that well-known saying - "No bucks, no Buck Rogers!!".
