I have a U.K. brown lifetime ppl issued about 1979ish.
Then came the BCPL, Instructor etc. CPL, IR. ATPL...... JAR ... EASA and a different European state flying around in a nice shiney jet.
I was looking into renewing instructor in U.K. changing licence back from non U.K. but with Covid and other things it went a bit bye the bye.
Trying to get info from CAA has been pointless.
Plan B
Just get in the air again with the least amount of fuss and expense so prob just renew ppl and fly around when I get the urge.
Without all the probs and expense with soli can I just somehow renew the old brown torn out of a ticket book ppl, throw ATPL with all the add ons in the bin and fly a Cessna, Piper etc
