It was "Centre"... see the pic below.
I was corresponding with them as BLAC in 1967 but I don't know the exact date. I'm even fairly certain that when I visited them in Artillery Mansions in 1966 they were BLAC, but that could just be failing memory syndrome.
Edit......Companies House records show British Light Aviation Centre Ltd was incorporated on 18th March 1966, and still exists today..
