I know a guy that works in UK as an FI. He said it is impossible to get a FI job there the airline guys are fighting for those jobs as well and it's NOT EASA ANY MORE IN UK BECAUSE OF BREXIT. Let that sink in a bit. You will have a better chance of getting quality flight hours in the US like survey flights. It's also very hard to get work in Europe due to the fact you need a European passport. If I was you forget about the EASA licence until you have a lot of hours. No point sinking more money on another license. Keep in mind the EASA license rating will expire so you will need to spend money to renew it.
