Ryanair Base Choice
Hi, I'm currently a student studying Accounting and Finance at a good university in Dublin and I'm hoping to pursue flight training in the AFTA Ryanair cadet course after I graduate uni. I would like to stay in Dublin after my flight training (although I am aware nothing is ever certain) so EI and FR are looking like the 2 airlines that seem to be good options. My question is: what are the chances that a FR Cadet gets based in EIDW and what kind of influence do cadets have when deciding where they want to be based? I know Dublin is one of the biggest bases for the FR network so I'm thinking it would be relatively easy. I would love to hear the thoughts of past and present RYR pilots. I couldn't find a lot of up to date info on this.
P.S I won't be starting flight school for at least 18 months
