I wonder about how many here have a actually spent 13 hours + in a single seat light crossing the ocean. Gotta tellya that the high protein diet worked! Funniest episode was the cooks at Hickham gave us a box lunch with fried chicken! Our life support crews had a tuff time cleaning our oxygen mask valves.
It takes two to get the job done, and I thank the tanker guys a lot when I was low on gas and managed to avoid the ack and SAM's. They were there and made a difference.
