The 146 -100 series positioned from Newcastle to Teesside on Friday evenings and operated various holiday routes from Teesside to the Mediterranean throughout the weekend. It then positioned back to Newcastle in time for the Monday morning scheduled services. It also operated Mediterranean flights from Gatwick (including Palma).
One great waste of time which was tried for a very short period was a Glasgow Palma. They limited the passengers to 70 (from 89 on the 100) so that we could get the fuel on. That didn't last long.
Many thanks for all the suggestions particularly from Duchess Driver. I got a photo from the Solway Aviation Museum through the General Manager at Carlisle Airport👍
