Details here, at least the old girls survival chances are improved and maybe one day she will be recovered to the RAF Museum. After all the stunning Southampton in the RAF museum survived the fate of its contemporaries by being converted to a houseboat in its past life.
He has also indicated that he will retain parts removed during the conversion process.
