In 1979, it was essentially down to 43 Sqn's Phantoms detached to Kinloss while runway resurfacing and ASM (hope the initials are in the right order, I know what it means just not what it stands for) programme went ahead at the Fife Aerodrome. 111 were sent to Coningsby.
