Seems odd. They need to keep the A350s and B789s busy first and the flying program is a fraction of the size it was. It may be the A330s are cycling through for maintenance at the hangar? One of the A332s was here for a while and left for DUS, presumably end of lease.
The VS Source reported G-VMNK positioning LHR-DUS on 19th Aug. Fleet status remains "unclear" at this time. Given that all four A332s were refurbished not so long ago, it would be pretty bizarre for the a/c to be withdrawn now not long after retrofitting. Having said that, given the vast reductions in the flight programme, A332 flying has been reduced considerably in favour of the newer A333s, so it may be that VS have decided to bring forward the A332s retirement (originally scheduled for 2022).
