I don’t understand the rest of your point. I think you might be confusing my use of the word ‘thin’. I meant this in the sense that they’re low frequency, not the performance of the routes. They could be operated by Network for almost half the crew cost.

Check out Network’s 25 page Pilot EBA (specifically the overtime rate) if you want to see why QF management would be motivated to make such a move.
