What EASA regulation requires assessment of candidates to be held in any specific format? I thought it was down to company policy as to whether they will do a theoretical written exam, an HR interview, a sim screening, a chat with the Chief Pilot or a combination of the aforementioned. Maybe in the case of Wizz air it has something to do with insurance, i.e. only candidates who have passed this and that before signing a contract are insured to fly the aircraft?
