Only for Wizz Abu Dhabi. It simply means that they can not find enough people (even amongst the ones recently fired) who would take the sand with such poor T&Cs.
So, out of 265 pilots who were fired, they couldn't find 70 or so to sign up? Given the dire situation in the industry in the countries where most of said pilots come from, that's quite unexpected. With most Eastern European airlines being financially infirm even in the best of times and at the brink of a mass collapse right now and with the many locals who lost their jobs in Asia in the past months coming back home, it's hard to believe that people would be turning down a flying job en masse. Or were they never offered to take it in the first place? Was the invitation for assessment for Abu Dhabi for all 265/265 or just for some of them?
