TRI or SFI?

Good morning,
I am thinking to upgrade myself (and to have a sort of insurance in case of med issues in the future) and get a TRI certificate. Currently flying the 747 and holding an FI as well, according to part FCL.930 I can skip the teaching and learning part.

on point “c” mentions that a SFI holder has all of the requirements covered so I was thinking if is more convenient in terms of money to do the SFI first then to apply for the TRI?

Any suggestions about that, and where is good/convenient in EASA land to do it?

thank you
