Anyone managed to get a clearance for a GA landing/touch and go at MML, they seem to be approving them at SSY.
Hands up those that live in Australia, are pilots and considering the nature of the original posters question don't know what/where MML & SSY stands for?? This ought to be good! -)
If you put in a flightplan that involves a landing at a major airport and are prepared to pay the fee and be happy with being at the end of the priority line then you should get to land there.
More chance now than in what we might call normal times due to present very low traffic levels. If you are not going to do a T&G or just backtrack for departure you may be asked where you are going to park and usually must show/advise that appropriate arrangements have been made and you must have an ASIC card. If you have passengers then an escort will be required.
At the end of the day, its just another runway! If you have the time and money and still wish to feed your ego, then go for it!! Once upon a time it was easy to drop off a pax upon completion of liaison with the airline concerned, but I don't know if it is still the same today. With high traffic levels being at the end of the line might mean over an hours holding??

As said previously, the use of MML etc only shows an ignorance of the system and how it is set up. The poster should have used either YMML/YSSY or MEL/SYD and much of the discussion would not have occurred.
