Well that will be interesting if they do. Given that the US & UK are a de facto combined fleet, it will potentially make life rather tricky. Yes we’d still be able to get jets in the air, but in terms of mission capabilities and access to maintenance etc back in the US that could be a different question entirely. We’d potentially end up with a second hangar at Waddington full of vintage airframes we can’t do much with!
