5/10 but close enough. It's the US Coast Guard station on Ediz Hook spit at Port Angeles. It was the first permanent US CG Air Station on the West Coast, established in 1935. The hangar and the admin building are still there.
I drove out to have a look while waiting to catch the Coho ferry to Victoria last August. Nice views from the spit, but you can't see much of the base from the gate!
and I detected a weasel factor in "not in British Columbia....."
I was tempted to say "Not on the West Coast" if asked!
