Well, and like that it all comes to a screeching halt. Compass and Trans States Airlines are both closing their doors permanently within the next two weeks (both are owned by Trans States Holdings). Everyone has stopped hiring with the exception of Expressjet and cargo carriers. Some unlucky ones have found themselves in cancelled classes and out on the street looking for a job, and the talks of furlough are murmuring amongst the masses. Hopefully, the recovery is quick.
