Feb was a tough month for MAF, they sold their beloved Twin Otter P2-MFT to Switzerland?, not sure of final destination. MAF bosses flying the Otter, unusual to do so when its sold as is where is; alas I was in Singapore and I saw the Otter at Seletar at an engineering shop. Apparently out of the Bay of Bengal, there was a problem which required a turn back. Landed in Indonesia, but no repair facilities. So back track even further to Singapore for engineering. A week lost but no doubt a good experience!.
