People are giving you their informed opinion and all you can do is reject it with every response.

As someone said above, it seems nothing can dissuade an aspiring pilot.

You need to take stock and realise that besides people’s opinions on just how poor an MPL is in “good” times, it’s a complete crap shoot in the “bad”.

It seems we’re on the precipice of entering the worst times for a while; with so many qualified yet unemployed pilots in the markets, I can’t see any sense in contemplating starting training now.

Also, easyJet being committed to training 200 a year? Like the above poster said, force majeure will see to that.

You have a recession proof backup? Good! Stick to that and get your PPL if you’re desperate for “a mile of runway to take you anywhere”
