Great news that soon UK will have MPA again - good luck to all involved.
Two questions:
1.at what altitude will it normally operate on station ? In the UK weather flying for hours in IMC/ turbulance/ icing sounds b uncomfortable! Will it have the the option to operate VMC at low levels for extended periods?
2. What will be its minimum speed manoevering over a datum? Slow is good! The Nimrod VMD was 200-225 knots which made it difficult to return to 'on top 'quickly! Presumably with its swept wings itha P8 will need to fly even faster?
