Don’t agree this was pretty much the plan .

Those aircraft meet exactly with Shobarts requirement and as we know the consortium balked at putting the funds in place .

It’s pretty standard pre pack many of those dashes were internally mortgaged back to the parent over the last few weeks so ownership may have already moved of off the Flybe books . Stobart are part of the parent company ownership structure and if the management company believed to be Nordic pick them up you want to believe they will be transferred over pretty quickly.

Interestedly its the numbers of frames involved as that is almost exactly what’s required for Belfast and one other mainland airport Edinburgh and Aberdeen - Heathrow.

Stobart had known about the imminent Collapse for some days as well.
They ensured their own assets were clear of the UK hours before closure.
Indeed the Belfast based Embrear was already heading to Dublin Before the last Flybe landed .

It’s also telling that the key Belfast routes are yet to be taken up and that the airport operators aren’t showing major distress yet .

Belfast City, Stobart, Nordic, Connect and the receivers are certainly working on a plan .
