I'm not saying that Stobart will take on Q400s, but on the flip side, Connect has access to the financial data. Not all of Flybes routes would've been unprofitable. There are many factors as to why flybe as a whole wasn't profitable.
Stobart or any of the other regional Airlines could pick up the most popular routes and make them profitable without being laden with debt and expensive lease costs, and trying to please everyman and his laptop by providing too many frequencies and destroying yields.
