Safety being ‘our’ number one concern is clearly a vitally important Company wide goal. Might I humbly suggest that Cabin Crew be encouraged to be more closely involved in safety issues that may otherwise have escaped Pilots’ attentions? Especially during high workload environments like prior to departure, it’s very easy to overlook things that otherwise would be considered quite serious.
Cabin Crew are generally a very reliable set of (up to 36?) eyes and would no doubt be only too keen to assist the Company maintain the justifiably enviable safety record it has. After all, everyone’s job depends on safety.
