Dilemma
Hi, after some advice on whether the grass is greener on the other side.
I achieved my CPL ME/IR back in 2007 and went into ppl instructing due to the recession and no opportunity for a commercial airline job.
I have continued flying, with part time instructing.
With the upturn in the market i wonder if its worth giving it a shot again, my atpl credits have gone and IR, so I'd have to resit and get the IR valid.
I'm 43 and in a stable well paid job, so is it really worth the risk? I guess only I can answer that.
My dream has been flying commercially, but is it really that good, or is the reality different ?
