Writing from the train back to the city. Really straight forward. About 85 people, but lots of empty chairs with candidate numbers so no-shows maybe?

Everyone I talked to was experienced, military or big jet operators. The only fresh cadets seemed to be Spanish, foreigners were experienced. I obviously didn't talk to everyone though. That's about as specific I can get.

English is in 2 parts, first is a fill in the blank with a story over the speakers, quite easy. Second part is atrocious. You have atis, clearance, ground movement and a controller. Audio is terrible but there's a slight pause between each exercise. Seats are assigned so lucky or unlucky.

The atpl exam is focused on someone flying for a commercial operator, not very difficult. But quite tricky. Met (viz and altimeter), fuel planning (no calculation but lots of reserve and alternate fuel Qs), ndb and Rmi intercept + hold, POF (drag and few constant speed what goes up and down, blocked static tube) performance (t/o segments, flap settings, tora asda etc), comms, lost comms TCAS RA. Icing procedures and maintenance procedures, MEL MMEL CDL.

They ask when you can come for interview when you are finished if you haven't informed otherwise.

They don't mention salary, T&C, TR providers, intake numbers or anything other than "we are going to NEXT 2.0 and want 200 airplanes, 50% are BCN based but we have other bases" + video that you can find on YouTube after searching Vueling and the "presentation" finishes it off with "so we are different than other LCCs" So useless .

I expect these things to be discussed on later stages but tbh I have never seen absolutely zero discussions during an open assessment. Flight schools offer more information. Big con IMHO.

No need for suit and tie. It was 50-50. It was all in English, they obviously dropped the Spanish requirement.
