FWIW, I used BA LH for the first time in a while a couple of weeks back. Ground processing was efficient and pretty quick. Found the on-board crew polite, friendly, professional and would have had confidence in them should something abnormal happen. Certainly better than some recent earlier experiences.Ultimately, the ticket is to go from A to B, ideally on-time, service on the ground and in the air is a bonus; not an unreasonable expectation with a high ticket price but, in this day and age doesn't seem to be guaranteed by any carrier.

If only one could bring back the days and attitudes of 'Putting People First'. Didn't guarantee that everything went well, of course, but maybe went some way toward making the company live up to its 'World's Favourite Airline' strapline.

Oh, and love the Ryanair without the charm line!
