Amanda is a great mate of mine and regularly reduces me to fits of giggles when she’s “controlling” me. They’re all good there and I’m lucky in my job to get to meet them when we’ve put our headsets away. If most low hour PPL’s and students were introduced to the STN/LTN crowd early in their flying careers they’d realise there’s no need to be afraid of flying in Class D, and that transits are part of the challenge and fun of GA. On a grotty night into either airport I’m always glad to gear their voices.
