I was surprised with his previous conviction over similar crimes, he was allowed out often up to 12 hours a day to run his businesses, it was more a bed and breakfast sentence than a prison sentence.

Just because he is dead can they not still run the prosecution as the UK did with Saville, or is that it as far as the US is concerned?
