Just come across this. Appears to be Bovingdon in 1943. With Thunderbolt and Lightning carrying out passes on R/W 35. Thunderbolt is 27921 personal aircraft of Lt Col Cass Hough. Note how he stubs his fag out before climbing into the cockpit.
