In NAIPS, go to Location Briefing and enter the location name to obtain both TAF and NOTAMS. Alternatively, you can also go to Area Briefing and click on the area(s) of interest. The issue here is how useful NOTAMS are in their current presentation and as you have also pointed out, TAF and NOTAMs are not the same. Thanks for the offer to help anyway, but after 30 years in the industry, I think I've sorted it out.
