According to AA Route Planner, BAE Systems in Barrow is 92.4 miles from Carlisle Airport and it takes 1 hour 50 minutes by car. And of course the BaE Systems actually own an airport at Barrow, albeit with a shorter main runway.
So who remembers Air Furness?
