Are there any suitable taxiways or parking bays suitable for widebody wingspans or weights in Broome?
Considering it was towed onto the runway with multiple observers prior to engine start, and required a guide for the turn around at the beginning of the runway I'd say not for wheel track. The taxi and take off procedure effectively closed the airport for the best part of half an hour. Advise to inbound aircraft - hold time unknown - advise latest divert time.
Given that the whole town seemed to know of the departure time in advance a NOTAM would have been nice.
