All Directy Entry Recruitment has stopped by now (FO and Cpt's too). Due to the Max being grounded and not expected to be in service any earlier than late summer.. (that's being optimistic) most likely end of the year 2019. Cadet recruitment slowing down too as there's much less departures than 2018 &2017. Focus is more into keep the crew, rather than just recruit more.
Also there has been a few busts recently: Primera, Germania.. and some airlines like Flybe and NAS barely making it.
On the career page they still have some jobs up, so I am not sure you are correct in saying they are not hiring FOs. They are still hiring Cadets a few friends of mine recently got a call.
