@2unlimited: No there are security checks on domestic flights from international airports and there are also security checks if you fly a Cessna domestic to an international airport like for example EPGD or EPMO. But if you fly a Cessna or even something bigger even with passengers from EPBC to some other non controlled airport in Poland the only security will be what you or your AOC holder decide upon. As for companies operating from international airports they get the rules from CAA/EASA but do you really think companies would not care to perform security checks? Their insurance company would for sure make it mandatory for the insurance.

As for flying Cessna domestically in public airspace (its the state airspace) who else would make the rules if its not private airspace?

My dream model is a company owned by pilots who fly in the company but when no such company exist due to government regulations making it almost impossible then we have the companies we have. And no company is a dictatorship..... and comparing it to Stalin is like showing no respect to millions of victims. You know Stalin was mandatory.... working for a company is up to your choice you take it or leave it. So the victims of communism/socialism/national socialism had no option like "I resign" THAT is the big difference the government and politicians are mandatory. The company is your free choice. And if you become captain with experience.... well in the current market if being fired or having to resign is what you fear most.... then it does not say much good. Because as experienced captain a pilot will be like called almost everywhere where they hire DEC and a skilled pilot will pass at least one of the assessments.

Humans are not machines but seriously not showing up for no reason or being 3 hours delayed may cost more than the company pay you in salary. So without a proper medical reason the company should really not have to say to the passengers "We are sorry but the pilot is late, we hope you do not mind being delayed for some hours, we hope you support our superb T&C for the pilots. Meanwhile please stop asking are we gonna fly soon please".
