@2unlimited: Its rather funny that what you experienced in South America and Mexico is the effect of lack of freedom. Its that what creates all the cartels, drug trade, mafia all this is created by the state.... where is the alcohol mafia and alcohol trade of the 20s in US? You know the state discovered that by making alcohol legal again they got rid of all the stuff you are talking about..... Now I am the last person to care about drugs..... but still I care about other peoples freedom like I hope they care about mine the day when the likes of MDG try to ban flying for example.

As for children living in a society where drugs are legally accessible.... you know they do live in such a society with alcohol and tobacco fully legal. And actually your children can get drugs from a dealer at their school.... a dealer who would never be there and never exist if they were sold at a shop for people over 18 years old. Plus if your children bought it you would know it and could react, as opposed to them buying it from the dealer. Have you seen an alcohol dealer at schools or other places where children go ? No ? Maybe because the state found out this was a very bad idea to give away the trade to mafia and dealers.....

OMG this is the funniest argument from the left side that you actually used: "Unfortunately the masses are not that smart, and they can't be left to make to big decisions for their own lives" its the spot on point. So you believe the masses are too little smart to govern their own life, BUT you believe they are smart enough to vote for politicians and govern the life of individuals and decide about their life? And as for feeling entitled its the socialists and politicians who feel entitled to my life and other peoples life, they actually feel entitled to ruling the world... and believe individual people owe them their life. Clearly if I ever have children I will wish they can live in a free world with freedom of speech and freedom of living as they see fit not as the politicians elected by the "not that smart masses" see fit.

How can it be wrong if people are free to do with their life whatever they want to so long as they do not harm others or their property?
