I believe this whole contractor deal is absolutely ridiculous and the same way that pilots can do away with certain securities for higher pay companies can race them a lot faster to the bottom and find employees who will accept the absolute least. I'm curious to see cases of this being challenged in EU court. Why would you work for a company if the only security you have is getting pay, and without throwing out names not even on the higher side?
I believe the SAIL SAS situation will be interesting to see how much strength unions have left in the rise of low-cost lowering costs era.
