regarding the disciplinary action for the 12 hrs rest yeah it happened , after all it all depends on your luck in this company the safest way is to respect it .
If you don’t abide by the 12hr rule you may get away with it. However, if you don’t and then file a fatigue report following your subsequent Chennai night turnaround, then you’re exposing yourself. The QR system is not out to get you, but it does operate strictly by the book. And not just for pilots but for all employees. For example, the company does not care if you perform a go-around, which is SOP. They will care, and ask you to explain, if they find that somewhere up along the approach path you did not follow SOP, which then led to the go-around. It couldn’t be simpler, just do what the book says.
