The way I understand the books, including the AMM diagrams, the column cutout switches stop
opposing electric trim only. Pull back, can't trim forward, push forward, can't trim back.
But like I say, that's just from the books, if you've tried it on the real thing and it is the way you say, then I'll defer to that.
