@Fceng84 and Gums – In his testimony during the US Senate Aviation Safety hearing of the 27th FAA’s Mr Elwell stated that [according to the FAA – and Boeing] MCAS was a subsystem of STS. I would be VERY interested in hearing your respective views on this statement. That from a technical functional point of view, technical implementation point of view, and from a pilot’s perspective.
