Ryanair's strongest selling point for experienced pilots - like dboy seems to be - are a very stable and excellent roster with many "regional" bases. If you get this, you get a good pay and a reasonable quality of life, especially for family. If he has to move all over the continent than Ryanair won't be a good enough choice. It applies also to me if I can get base in my home country.
