i might accept the job offer if i pass the selection but that all depends again on the base offer.
i was wondering if they give the base before or after the typeratiing??? And what bases are virtually impossible te get?? Dont wanna waste my time going to marrakech or sorts.

it depends how you’d be coming in, if they’re classing you as a cadet as you’re non rated the base offer would be after the type rating. If you’re coming as a DE FO doing an OCC course you would be able to negotiate a base beforehand, not all of them are always available but at least you know what’s on the table up front.
Difficult bases could be most the Spanish ones and certain bases with one or two a/c such as GOT, NYO etc
