Recently I asked a Commutair recruiter whether CPP to United applies to E-3 visa holders. They double checked with United HR and the answer was: only if your status in the U.S. changes to the green card holder OR citizen. Otherwise there is NO guaranteed flow for an Aussie pilot. United will not sponsor any visas.

That's a worthwhile bit of info for planning purposes. I'd like to hear what other US legacies officially have to say in response to the same question.
